Ann will request permissions to introduce membership information in her upcoming talk on genealogy.

Fundraising: Coupons for the next Jewel Shop and Share Day on April 30thÑMay 1st are now available at Circulation and also may be downloaded from the Friends' website.

Elizabeth will survey other North Suburban Library Association Friends pricing for Used Book Sales and report the results at the next meeting. She will also check with the Chamber of Commerce on the status of our application for the bulletin board on the waiting list. Barb Mullowney will be contacted by Jeremy is regard to advertising the Book Sale on the Park District's bulletin board. Elizabeth requested Marsha Tillman's assistance in calling FOCLL members to volunteer for set up and sale days for the Sale. Jeremy will seek help in transporting the stored books to the Library.

FOCLL will seek to borrow tables for the Sale rather than immediately acting to rent them. If no donors are available members will be polled to approve rental of the 23 tables needed.

Director's Report: Karen noted that the Library's supply of bookmarks advertising the Book Sale needs to be replenished. Bob will print a limited amount including the March 21st Collection Day information and will print bookmarks for the sale for use after the 21st. Karen informed members that we will need to vacate the Ames Room by noon on April 27 due to a program that afternoon. FOCLL agreed to have the Public Relations coordinator provide Book Bucks and signs for the June 22nd-23rd Scholastic Book Fair.

Old Business: Organizations willing to pick up materials left over from the Sale are being sought. Jeremy culled a total of four boxes of materials from the Friends of Crystal Lake Gifted Education program's book sale. Plans for bylaw revision were tabled until a more thorough study can be done. No candidates have yet been found for 2009-2010 officers yet, Jeremy reported. He invited suggestions from those present.

New Business: The April meeting of the Friends will be held on April 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the Ames Meeting Room.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:37 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Elizabeth Puchmelter Recording Secretary
