Friends of the Crystal Lake Library

The next business meeting of the Friends of Crystal Lake Library is on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 7-8:30 PM at Panera Bread on Hwy 14. The back room is reserved 6:30-9 PM, so come early, stay late, eat and socialize! EVERYONE is welcome to attend.

Friends Donate $7,300

The Friends of the Crystal Lake Library presented CLPL with a “big” check on Monday, June 20. The $7,300 “check” represents the money that the Friends have given the Library during the last fiscal year. The Friends have raised these funds through a combination of fundraisers including Culver’s nights, Market Day sales, Fall Mum sale and the Used Book Sale. Of the $7,300 the Library has received, $4,500 went to support the 2011 Summer Reading Program. The Friends have donated $77,640 since 2000.
